It looks as though the Repubs are at it again. This time in drag. Washington State Representative Richard Curtis has resigned after an incident on October 26 in which he dressed in red stockings went to an adult bookstore and invited a male sex worker back to his hotel. Very interesting indeed. Keep in mind this is a man who has consistently voted against civil rights protections for gays and lesbians and domestic partnership bills in his state. It seems to me that the Republicans would be much happier if they didn't impose their dictatorship over these hideous conservative laws. At the very least, they would live with much less shame and guilt from the hypocrisy of it all.
