I've never had the heart to litter. Afterall, who am I to desecrate this beautiful world with my trash? I find myself going out of my way to find a trash can whenever I need to throw something away. In fact, I even scold my friends if I catch them littering. And, yes, I get particularly disgusted at cigarette smokers when they carelessely flick their nasty butts on the ground.
So I took the Nikon D80 out for a walk Friday evening and came across this empty Starbucks bottle sitting on the guardrail of the Lorain/Carnegie bridge. Clearly another man's trash. But for some reason it struck me to snap a shot. I was captivated by the way the natural light cast by the sun reflected off the bottle. Moral of the story? One man's trash is another man's reason to stop and enjoy the simple, yet beautiful things that happen every day...like the sunset.
